Parabens - Thanks but No thanks.

If you love beauty like we do then Parabens have been a word thrown around by a lot of people, normally with the word No in-front of it. But let's just understand a bit more as to what they are.

A paraben is a preservative stabiliser - in other words it gives your products an enhanced shelf life so they last longer. They are probably the most used stabiliser across cosmetic and skincare products. There have been numerous studies over the years and parabens have actually been approved safe by experts and global product approval bodies. So to that extent they are safe and would make products last longer.

However at ONE SUMMER we simply prefer to use alternatives to parabens. We are happy with shorter shelf life and know it is what the people who love our products prefer.
